The joint stock company United Energy came in to existence in 2006 by dividing the company United Energy, a.s. The Company belongs to prominent Czech independent power and heat generators. Its sole owner is Czech Energy Holding, a.s. and the Company belongs to the consolidated entity of J&T Group.
United Energy runs a power station with a common generation of power and heat in Komořany at Most having an installed electrical performance of 239 MW. The power station supplies heat to 35 thousand households in Most and Litvínov and to a lot of non-residential premises, industrial plants, health care facilities, schools etc. The Company has about 400 employees.
